CERT Celebrates Cultural Diversity and Promotes the Values of Inclusion
In celebration of the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, and as part of its ongoing efforts to support the Year of Community 2025 initiatives in the United Arab Emirates, CERT organized a comprehensive event reflecting its unwavering commitment to the values of diversity, openness, and community inclusion.
The event reaffirmed CERT’s role as a leading institution in fostering a multicultural work environment. CERT employees came together to participate in a vibrant cultural program featuring a series of cultural pavilions that showcased elements of global heritage, including traditional attire, handicrafts, and authentic cuisines, each representing the distinct identity of different communities. This experience enabled participants to engage with and learn about a wide spectrum of cultures, reinforcing CERT’s identity as a globally minded organization grounded in shared human values.
In recognition of the teams whose contributions are essential to the success of every initiative, CERT honored its housekeeping, security, and facilities staff under the Inclusion & Recognition Initiative—a meaningful gesture acknowledging their indispensable role in supporting daily operations and ensuring institutional excellence.
A key highlight of the event was a keynote address delivered by Mr. Abdulla Alameri, Chief Operating Officer of CERT, who was honored with the title “Champion of Empowerment and Inclusion 2025” in recognition of his leadership in embedding inclusive practices and cultivating a workplace culture that embraces diversity. In his remarks, he stated:
“Today, we embody the spirit of unity that makes CERT a truly global workplace. Each culture adds a unique dimension to our ecosystem, and together we are painting a complete picture of collaboration and innovation. Our success is built upon the convergence and integration of diverse minds—this is the foundation from which we move forward toward greater excellence and leadership.”
The event concluded with an interactive cultural experience, where participants explored global showcases and enjoyed culinary selections from around the world. More than a gastronomic exchange, the experience facilitated meaningful dialogue and cultural understanding—offering insights into the customs, traditions, and social values of each community. These moments fostered an atmosphere of connection, mutual respect, and appreciation, reflecting the values that CERT strives to instill within its workplace and across the broader society.
